Stig Andersen, Tenor


Among projects of the Danish tenor Stig Andersen are 2007-2008 “Siegfried” in Lyon, “Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg” in Berlin, “Tristan und Isolde” in Amsterdam, an operatic concert in Alborg, “Gurre-Lieder” at the Bergen Festival, “Die Walküre” and “Götterdämmerung” in concert in Budapest. Later in 2008 and in 2009 are scheduled “Salome” in Munich, “Die Walküre” in Hamburg, “Tristan und Isolde” (stage direction and the role of ‘Tristan’) in Copenhagen, “Siegfried” and “Götterdämmerung” in Seattle...

Stig Andersen is a member of the Royal Theatre Copenhagen, where he successively sang the parts of the lyric and lirico spinto before becoming one of the most demanded heroic tenors for the Wagner repertory.
